How this estimate is built

Holiday lighting is priced by linear foot, adjusted for how hard the house is to work on. A 60-foot ranch roofline and a 60-foot run along a steep third-story gable are the same footage and nowhere near the same job — the second one needs bigger ladders, more time and a crew that is comfortable up there.
