Bigger homes, higher expectations
Monmouth County is our other main holiday route, and the work skews larger — Colts Neck and Holmdel estates, the historic homes in Spring Lake and Sea Girt, and a lot of substantial newer construction in Wall, Howell and Freehold.
Two things come up constantly up here. One is scale: on a wide or deep property, lighting only the front gutter looks unfinished. These homes usually want the roofline plus columns, plus wrapped trees along the drive, plus something at the entry.
The other is restraint. In Spring Lake and Sea Girt especially, the look people want is elegant, not loud — even warm-white C9s, clean lines, no color chase, no blow-molds. We do a lot of straight warm white up here and it is usually the right call.
Historic homes and HOA neighborhoods
If you are in a historic district or an HOA with rules about exterior modifications, tell us before we quote. Clip-on seasonal lighting is almost never an issue. A permanent track system occasionally needs approval, and it is much easier to ask first than to remove it later. We can put the specs in writing for your board.

In Monmouth County most single-story homes with the front roofline lit run about $400 to $700, a typical two-story runs about $700 to $1,400, and larger full installs with peaks, columns and trees run $1,500 and up. Price depends on roof height, pitch and total linear feet. Our pricing includes the lights, the install, in-season service, takedown and storage.
Do you actually service Monmouth County?
Yes. We are based in Ocean County and Monmouth County is on our regular holiday route, covering Wall, Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Brielle, Howell, Freehold, Colts Neck and Middletown. We are not a national franchise routing you to a subcontractor — it is our own insured crew.
When should I book in Monmouth County?
August through October. There are only about five prime install weekends between Halloween and Thanksgiving and they fill up, so booking early gets you better pricing and your pick of dates. Installs run from late October through the week before Thanksgiving.
Do you supply the lights or do I buy them?
We supply them. Seasonal installs include commercial-grade LED lights cut to fit your roofline, professional install, service during the season, removal in January and storage until next year. If you already own lights you love we can hang those, though we cannot warranty bulbs we did not supply.
What if a section goes dark in December?
Call or text and we come back out. In-season service is included, because a dark run in the middle of the season is the entire reason people hire this out instead of doing it themselves.
Do you do permanent lighting too?
Yes. We install permanent RGBIC LED track systems as well as seasonal lighting. If you plan to stay in the house more than about three more years, permanent usually costs less over time and works for Halloween, the Fourth of July and everyday curb appeal, not just Christmas.
