Christmas Light Installation in Point Pleasant, NJ
Professional holiday lighting for Point Pleasant homes. We supply commercial-grade lights, install them, service them all season, take them down in January and store them until next year. You never touch a ladder.
Garden State Exterior Solutions, LLC · Licensed & insured · Serving Point Pleasant Beach, Point Pleasant Borough, Bay Head, the Boardwalk district and the neighborhoods off Arnold and Bridge Avenue
Shore homes, older housing stock, real weather
Point Pleasant runs from tight older bungalows off Arnold Avenue to full-size shore homes near the beach and up into Bay Head. The older housing stock is the interesting part: a lot of these homes have wood fascia, original trim, and porch details worth lighting — and they are exactly the homes you do not want someone attacking with a staple gun.
Everything we install here clips on. Nothing is nailed or stapled into fascia or trim. On a hundred-year-old shore house that is not a preference, it is the whole job.
Second homes and rentals
A lot of Point Pleasant and Bay Head properties are second homes or rentals, and the owner is not there in December to flip a switch or fix a dark section. Two things solve that:
- Timers and app control so the house lights itself on a schedule whether anyone is home or not.
- Included in-season service. If a run goes out and you are two hours away, you call us and we handle it. You are not driving down to look at it.
If your place sits empty part of the winter, tell us when you book — we set it up differently.
What is included on every Point Pleasant install
- Commercial-grade LED bulbs and wire, custom-cut to your roofline. No store-bought strands daisy-chained together.
- Professional install with clips. Nothing stapled or nailed into fascia, shingles or trim.
- In-season service calls included. Something goes dark, we come back.
- January takedown and storage. Nothing ends up in your garage.
Book your Point Pleasant install
The fastest way to get a number: text a photo of the front of your house to 732-773-0628 and tell us roughly what you want lit. Most quotes come back the same day, and we can pull your property up by satellite if you would rather not meet in person.

Point Pleasant holiday lighting FAQs
How much does Christmas light installation cost in Point Pleasant?
In Point Pleasant most single-story homes with the front roofline lit run about $400 to $700, a typical two-story runs about $700 to $1,400, and larger full installs with peaks, columns and trees run $1,500 and up. Price depends on roof height, pitch and total linear feet. Our pricing includes the lights, the install, in-season service, takedown and storage.
Do you actually service Point Pleasant?
Yes. We are based in Ocean County and Point Pleasant is on our regular holiday route, covering Point Pleasant Beach, Point Pleasant Borough, Bay Head, the Boardwalk district and the neighborhoods off Arnold and Bridge Avenue. We are not a national franchise routing you to a subcontractor — it is our own insured crew.
When should I book in Point Pleasant?
August through October. There are only about five prime install weekends between Halloween and Thanksgiving and they fill up, so booking early gets you better pricing and your pick of dates. Installs run from late October through the week before Thanksgiving.
Do you supply the lights or do I buy them?
We supply them. Seasonal installs include commercial-grade LED lights cut to fit your roofline, professional install, service during the season, removal in January and storage until next year. If you already own lights you love we can hang those, though we cannot warranty bulbs we did not supply.
What if a section goes dark in December?
Call or text and we come back out. In-season service is included, because a dark run in the middle of the season is the entire reason people hire this out instead of doing it themselves.
Do you do permanent lighting too?
Yes. We install permanent RGBIC LED track systems as well as seasonal lighting. If you plan to stay in the house more than about three more years, permanent usually costs less over time and works for Halloween, the Fourth of July and everyday curb appeal, not just Christmas.
